Getting baptized was such a meaningful step in my life. It wasn’t just a moment; it was a decision to be intentional about my faith and surrender. Baptism did not save me, but it marked my choice to follow God and live out my faith unapologetically. I remember feeling both nervous and at peace, like I was leaving behind an old version of me and my beliefs and choosing a new heart rooted in Him.
Since then, my relationship with God, through Christ, has changed how I see the world. There’s more purpose in the ordinary, more grace in the hard moments, and more beauty and gratitude in the everyday. It’s also changed how I love. I try to lead with patience, compassion, and understanding, even when it’s not easy. It has never been about being perfect, but about being guided, repentant, and continually growing.
